The Integrated Renewable Energy Systems Lab, led by Prof. Leyla Amiri at Université de Sherbrooke, develops experimental, numerical, and optimization-based approaches to improve the performance of sustainable energy systems. Our research focuses on thermal energy storage, heat transfer in complex porous media, waste heat recovery, and the integration of renewable energy technologies in cold-climate and industrial applications.
